GREEN PALLET STOCK EXPENDABLE Green Pallet Stock Expendable grade (LPE) meets customer needs for repair boards for recycled pallets. Green Pallet Stock Expendable grade (LPE) is a Number 2 grade of green pallet stock with maximum allowances for oversize, undersize, and wane. Deckboards: (1x4) 11/16 inch x 3.75 inches x 40 inches.  (1x5) 11/16 inch x 4.50 inches x 40 inches, (1x6) 11/16 inch x 5.75 inches x 40 inches. Stringers: (2x4) 1.50 inch x 3.75 inches x 48 inches. Deck Board Tolerance: Length - 1 inch short allowed. Stringer Tolerance: Length - 3/16 short allowed, thickness - 1/16 inch over or 3/16 inch under allowed. Width - 1/8 inch over or 1/4 inch under allowed. Wane: maximum allowable wane is 33 percent of the nominal width for the full length of the stock and may be full thickness, as long as the width of the stock is not reduced more than 1/4 inch. Wane can be on both edges of the stock, not to exceed 33 percent maximum. Knots: not limited. Rot: limited to 25 percent of the stock. Splits: limited to two times the nominal width will be allowed.
